Kryptonite - Why join our Community?
Our Vision
We, like many, would like crypto-currency to be fairer and
more de-centralized. We're very idealistic, but would still like to
work toward our goals of getting cryptos into more people's hands in a
fairer, more even playing field. Of course since we started looking in
to BitCoin/Litecoin code last year, we've found, like others before,
that this is not such an easy task!
That said, we're determined to carry on, and at this point want everyone to know a little about what we're about, and what we're trying to achieve. We'd like to build a solid community who can contribute in all kinds of ways - from simple ideas, to complex bits of coding for those 'simple' ideas (lol), from graphic design to webhosting..... you get the picture.
So, we do not claim Kryptonite is an amazingly different idea - it's not! But it is tweaked a little to help us achieve our objectives. Special mention goes to DarkCoin, to which Kryptonite owes so much, and those who have pioneered new technologies like BitCoin, LiteCoin, X11, Kimoto Gravity Well, Scrypt-N, and Dark Gravity Wave, to name just a few.
Kryptonite started from an interest in Bitcoin over 6 months ago. It is experimental beta software to which we can offer no support or guarantees. This is (for now) something to mine and accumulate....save!
The Devs are working on other technologies to bring to Kryptonite and future projects. We have many ideas and plans, and are happy to work with others. Both Devs work, and have been working hard on this project in our spare time. It amazes us how people throw coins/currencies out there with no knowledge at all. Even our relatively 'simple' currency has had many hours spent on it making sure that it works how we want it.
CrakeJ and MilambaS both come from programming and internet marketing experience. We're committed to our project 110% We hope that Kryptonite will develop into something not just for saving and trading, but for making purchases as well. We believe we have a strong brand and image, as well as a very memorable currency code (KRYP) and symbol. Now to build a community!
